Try Some Wine With The LA Times This Labor Day Weekend
Posted on September 3, 2010 · Leave a CommentLooking for something refined and sophisticated to do this Labor Day weekend? Check out the Los Angeles Times Food & Wine Festival!
I went to my first ever wine festival earlier this year, and if that was any indication of how wine festivals are, I will definitely be at the Los Angeles Times Food & Wine Festival! It’s this Sunday, August 5th at Paramount Pictures Studio in Hollywood, all day from 12pm-8pm.
This festival will feature the best from all over the food and wine spectrum, so you can eat/drink what you know while discovering new flavors! VIP admissions are already sold out, so you already know this is going to be a celebrity-studded event. Get your general admissions tickets for $55 in advance. Check out info on parking and directions here! Now who in 1600 Vine is ready for some wine?? :-p

Take Me to See “Takers”
Posted on August 27, 2010 · Leave a CommentI cannot WAIT to see “Takers” this weekend! This all-star cast is sure to be a blockbuster!
This movie stars Idris Elba, Paul Walker, Michael Ealy, Matt Dillon, Hayden Christensen and recording artists Chris Brown and Clifford “T.I” Harris. It is an exciting heist thriller that has been compared to “Ocean’s 11.” Producer Will Packer Harris has been involved with such movies as “Obesessed” and “Stomp the Yard.” I’m sure it will be a great movie with lots of action! Check it out at Cinemark-Century 8 this weekend!

GOOD NEIGHBOR POLICY!!
“A good neighbor is a fellow who smiles at you over the back fence, but doesn’t climb over it.” – Arthur Baer
Living in such close proximity to your neighbors requires extra consideration and respect. Here are a few guidelines to remember!
CIGARETTE BUTTS NEED TO BE DISPOSED OF PROPERLY… HEALTH/SAFETY:
- Items being thrown and/or falling off your balcony is a lease violation – inform Guests.
WASHING BALCONIES AND WATERING PLANTS… LOOK OUT BELOW:
- Balcony washing should be mopped/soaked up; plants should have water basins.
HALLWAYS ARE COMMON AREAS… NO PERSONAL BELONGINGS:
- Door mats, plants, statues, etc. should be placed on your personal use balcony/patio.
- Trash bags, water bottles, cardboard boxes, etc. should not be seen by your neighbors.
HALLWAYS ARE COMMON AREAS… WE ALL HAVE A ROLE TO PLAY:
- Leaking trash bags, spilled cat litter, dropped candy wrappers create a hallway mess.
- Please make sure trash is neatly disposed of down the chute; and cardboard at P2-76.
PET FRIENDLY COMMUNITY… RESPONSIBLE PET OWNERSHIP:
- You know your dog is friendly; but they should still be on a leash in all common areas.
- Several pet waste disposal stations surround the building; please use them at all times.
PARKING STRUCTURE ETIQUETTE… YES, THIS IS A SHARED SPACE TOO:
- Please park only in your assigned space(s); and inform your guests to do the same.
- Parking within the lines shows respect and consideration for your neighbor next to you.
PLEASE HELP MANAGEMENT TO MAINTAIN A CLEAN & ORGANIZED HOME:
- If you see someone disrespecting our shared home; please report it immediately.
Thank you for following our policy and being a Good Neighbor!!!
“A good neighbor ~ a found treasure.” – Chinese Proverb
